Newborn Session
It is such a responsibility and an honour to be a trusted photographer of newborns. For over 10 years I have been blessed with newborn snuggles and delivering beautiful galleries to my clients. Whether you come to our studio or prefer at home, between 6-12 days is an ideal time for extra sleepiness and those curly shots. Everyone’s journey is different though and this is not always possible for a number of reasons and I am happy to capture newborn style images up to 6 weeks. Some posing will change as the weeks progress for comfort and safety for your baby but the images will still be gorgeous.
Studio Sessions
Our beautiful studio in Burleigh Heads is equipped with props and backdrops perfect for your newborn. Our style is very simple with neutral colours and natural textures, bringing in a little colour with wraps, accessories and fabrics. We welcome parents and siblings to be included in the photos and can provide a clothing guide for this.
Lifestyle Newborn Sessions
Lifestyle newborn sessions in your home using your environment as the backdrop to images is the preference of some of our clients and we are happy to come to you. We will discuss your home and the natural light that fills your space at different times of the day and create something that is truly you.
Elysse and Josh in the gallery below have had both of their newborn sessions at home. It provides memories of where they were at the time of their baby’s birth to see parts of their home in their session. Home birthing and having this connection to home in their newborn sessions is important to them. They also like the studio look so a small portion of images are also posed. We can help create a session that suits your needs and style.
