Loved this session. Such a fun family to spend the afternoon with and I love that they are still thinking of getting family photos with their older kids. Often families are much more regular with sessions in the younger ages and get to the end of school and realise they missed capturing a big chunk in the middle of their story. This was a booking on one of my sale packages. Reduced investment but gorgeous images to keep! Sales don’t mean less attention from me. I still capture all the variety for you to choose from.

This was a morning session so we had to find some shade. If your availability or time preferences for your kids mean that we aren’t shooting in the much loved golden hour that is perfectly ok. This beautiful family are from Brisbane and were gifted a voucher for their first baby shower from another client. I have now captured them several times for a maternity, 2 newborns, family, Christmas mini and this family session and I love watching their family grow. Their sessions have ranged from Brisbane Botanical Gardens, Currumbin Valley, Studio and this one was at Pizzey Park and South Miami Beach on the Gold Coast. Morning light can be a challenge but finding an area where I can connect in even light before heading out to open spaces like the beach can be the solution for working around availability or the routine of kids.

I am honoured when clients return year after year and recommend their extended family or social circle. My job becomes capturing a life journey.. a set of images to look back on that are the essence of their family in super awesome locations! Selena x

We are spoilt for choice in the beautiful Tweed Valley and this gorgeous family chose Cabarita for their afternoon family session and wanted a mix of park and beach.
